I have a Mustang Touring seat with rider backrest on my 02 Sportster. I think it is very comfortable. It does set you up a little, but I can still touch the ground with no problem (I'm 5'-8") .I think the added height is from thicker padding.

I put a Mustang wide touring seat on a 07 883, it was great, very comfortable riding, didn't have any problems with quality or touching the ground.

I enjoyed and would buy another if I need to.

When I was in the market for a "touring" seat, I looked at Mustang and Corbin. I went with Corbin for both style, fit and comfort. It flows with the lines of the bike nicely. It is narrow in front and moves you forward about an inch for us vertically challenged folk. I bought the matching passenger pillion and my wife and I have been across country and back on it. It's a great seat.
