Motion Pro " Fork Allignment Tool"

I like the look of the "Iron" and the" Nightster "insofar as the front gaiter boots and the blacked -out look is concerned. I purchased some Harley Davidson gaitor boots to install on my 1200low. Visual inspection shows that they will fit but I have to remove the forks from the triple tree and the lower brace. My only concern which the service manual doesnt address is lining the front forks after the boots are installed.I know that that there is a tool by Motion Pro called the" Fork allignment tool ".I was wondering if any forum members have had experience with this tool.

i have never used any special tools when refitting front forks
when they are in place only tighten the top mounts leave all other fastenings including fender and Axel bolts slightly loose
hold bike upright pull on front brake and bounce the front suspension 5 or 6 times this should get all in correct place in relation to each other then tighten all bolts to correct torque settings
