Metzler tires

My feeling is there isn't a dimes worth of difference in the whole bunch, just like oil. If you were in the boonies and they said I only got this MetZler, or Dunlop or Avon do you want it ......no decision and you'd run it into the ground. Need a quart of oil and you put Castrol or 60 weight Valvoline rather than run low. I would bet this wobble is mechanical and maybe a coincidence with the new tire, but the mount and the balance is where I'd start.
Just to add I put a Dunlop on Wednesday MT90 16 74H, I went into that first canyon curve and she didn't even corner like the old tire. I think I wasn't aware of the loss of handling I was dealing with in the corners. Oh I got the big wide white with HD all over it

I am putting my old dunlop back on it has 7000 miles on it and see maybe I just got a bad tire. It happens and I hope that all it is.

Keep us updated on the change back to Dunlop, I have been running ME880's for some time and no issues. But this post has my interest.

Check your neck bearings adjustment. That took care of mine on the heritage.
