Being self employed you will not be able to place blame on the higher ups.

The lockerroom at the gym I attend has a penchant for debate and out-and-out whining. One day the subject of bosses came up.

I stated, "You should work for my boss! I haven't had a vacation or a raise in over 15 years. I have to work most nights, sometimes on the weekends, and a few times until 0200 on a Sunday night. You'd like to ride, but you have to take care of the clients, those are the rules..."

One member spit and suggested, "Why don't you quit that loser?"

He laughed when I told him, "I'm self-employed."

I think I work harder now than the job I quit to retire...

If more workers had to be boss for a year, they would be better workers and appreciate a boss more. Not that there aren't bad bosses as there are bad workers.

As the old saying goes, the boss may not always be right, but he is always boss.

Actually with kids you can take notes while they are 16 yrs thru 24 yrs old, cause during that time they know it all. Make sure you get all your notes down before they turn 24 though because then they get stupid like the rest of us.
