I am changing my airbox tomorrow morning, and I was reviewing all my materials and making sure I had everything.

In the install instrux, it says to remove the Maxi Fuse, and reinstall it at the end, "refer to service manual". I have torn through my Service Manual, and all I see is the location of the Maxi Fuse, but nothing about removal and reinstallation.

Now, I am not THAT dumb; I know you can pop out a fuse and put it back in, but since it is the MAIN fuse of the bike, is there anything more I need to know about this fuse? Do I need to go through any kind of turn signal sequences or anything fancy, or can I just safely pull it out, change my airbox, pop it back in, then fire up and ride?

    Thanks!

Turn on the ignition first and then remove the fuse or the alarm will sound.
