trying to finish putting my primary together and left manual at home .Can some one tell me what the torque on the mainshaft nut on 2009 flhx is .

Assume you are referring to the trans pulley nut? Two torque procedures for that nut.

1. 100 ft.lbs
2. 35 ft.lbs initial torque and then another 35*-45* for final torque.

I like #2 but your ride; you decide.

Appreciate the reply .I should have been more clear ..I was referring to the mainshaft nut that holds the clutch hub on ...I found the spec on night rider ...80#s ..correct?........I hope that is correct.

Noworries; actually your terminology was correct; the "clutch hub main shaft nut" torque is 70#-80#. The larger trans pulley nut, to be technically correct, is the "transmission sprocket nut"; my bad.
