lowering 09 ultra

I have a 09 ultra looking to lower it front and back, there is a kit for the back that is ajustable or new rear shocks. Any info on the kit would help. Jerry

You can use the street glide shocks in the rear and replace the springs in the front but lowering the bike will effect both the ride and handling which translates into comfort, it also may cause clearance problems under some conditions and will scrape on turns sooner.

Be sure this is what you want before proceeding.

Thanks for the info I think I will try the kit for the rear and the springs for the front first if the ride is ok then I will change the rear shocks

I used the HD lowering kit front and back and have not experienced any problems. I am a conservative rider so can't speak for any potential problems with aggressive lean angles and so on...
