Looking for a little help with identifying

    Hello everyone,
    I found this bike in my father-in-laws barn not sure how long its been in there and he cant even remember what bike i was referring to. So im trying to see if anyone can give me any help with what frame it is im thinking its a 1980's sportster frame but im not sure and info would be very much helpful thank you

    No kickstarter and elec. start, so no older than 1968.
    Looks like rear drum brake, so no newer than 1973.
    Shift linkage was fabricated to the left side in 1975, this has R. shift.

    Find the VIN and post that, or look it up on the net VIN look up tools. See if the engine and frame numbers match.

    Right side drive, no kick start, iron heads, left side shifter. '79 to '85 Sportster.
