Lone Star Rally Galveston

getting closer :rider

yesiree...can't wait!

The Rally officially opens Thursday, November 3rd. Maybe the Monday before we can revive this thread and see if any HDTimeline (best Harley forum on the .net) members want to meet for a handshake, beer and pic (in that order).

Maybe we can even get the great TQuentin1 in a pic?

I'm in Sugar Land. I'm leaving Thursday morning (11/3) and riding all the way down Hwy 6 and staying on Tiki Island. I love that ride down Hwy 6 and have made it many times.

There is a "Fallen Heros" ride leaving Republic Harley and going to Galveston this Saturday (10/22). It is a sheriff escorted ride (I believe they are going down Hwy 6). I was thinking about tagging along as a precursor to the Lone Star Rally and to support a great cause ($20/bike-all proceeds go towards the Fallen Heros Fund).

we like to go the back way start on FM 762 then head to Angleton, from there is is a nice stop down 2004 but can't remember the name of it right now (on the corner of 2004 and 646). and from there on to Galveston.

They had a horrific 70mph dust storm in Lubbock today.

been through a lot of those in the mid east....not a lot of fun. will take the paint of off a truck......sand needs to stay where it belongs...on a beach

FYI
pre rally get together at the the County Line, starts at 3pm best bike, couple bands, bike wash etc :rider

On the way into Galveston, coming over the causeway, there was a huge banner over the road that said "Welcome to Galveston Bikers", then another that said "Amsoil-The Official Oil Of The Lone Star Rally" I'll take a picture of it today on my way in (Tank, that one will be for you).
