Everyones opinion is worth something, mine happens to be, that use of Loctite products, on fastners that "may" vidrate loose, "is" an integral procedure of a "well maintained bike", naturally YMMV.
PS: I work out of Geelong VIC, and ride "The Road" etc. I've only ridden from the Adelaide to the Sydney area. In South AU, VIC, and NSW there are some of the most pleasurable rides I've even taken anywhere in the world. I'm planning to get up in your area at some point in the future.
