Led tail light

Has anyone tried a 3157 LED tail light bulb in their sporty? I just got a layback tail light lens and the stock blub won't fit. I called J&P Cycles and the tech said I had to get a shorter LED tail light bulb because the stock blub is to long.I told him I wish they would tell you that when you order the the lens.

Ordered a 3157 LED white bulb from J&P. They did not charge me any shipping. I told them about what the tech said when I found out the stock bulb was to long. I will post again with the part number and how it works latter this week when I recieve the bulb.
