I grew up in New England and loved to ski, so I learned about layers. I love the feel of cold wind in my face(for shorter distances), Mr2cool stops riding at about 55-60 degrees,but I just add another tee shirt and sweater under everything else and maybe a heavier pair of sox and off I go.I will stop at 40-45 degrees (most of the time).I started riding late in life, so I have a lot of catching up to do.IMO, it's not so much"what leather" as what's under it.

I start with under armor, it cost a bit but well worth it.

I bought the widder heated vest and gloves years ago, with the thermostat best money I ever spent for staying warm. The gloves actually get too warm the thermostat is nice because you can regulate the temp. Welcome to Widder Enterprises
