Leak

I have a 2003 Classic and transmission fluid is leaking through the clutch cable, What is the most common cause of this problem. :eam

Trans is over filled or the vent tube is blocked. It depends also on where it'a leaking out of. If it is coming out at the end where it joins the side cover, there's an "O" ring in there that may be in need of replacing.

Thanks it's leaking into the cable it's self and comes out at the adjustment section half way up the clutch cable.. It's not over filled but didn't check the vent tube I'll give it a look.

More than likely it's a vent tube problem. There's usually trans oil in the lower half of the cable anyway, just if it pushes up to the adjuster, there has to be pressure doing it.
