Hoople, you would be AMAZED back in the day when the MOCO first came out with their NEW and improved V fire electronic ignition how many times I saw this, a simple repair was heat shrink, then we had problems with the roll pin shearing in the advance mechanism, The bikes would run, spit and sputter, you would think it was a bad coil but I knew better:s
