K&N Filter Cleaning

Oiling a KnN A/F do you just mist it with oil or give it a good spraying? I just got a new one and it tell`s me nothing about how to oil it?

Just mist. Leave it sit for a half hour or so and touch up any light/white spots if needed.
Like said previously, you don't want it soaked or dripping.

Down here in Fl with all the dust and sand, not to mention the love bugs, I clean and reoil mine 3 or 4 times a year.

I'm with Don, I do mine about every 3,000 miles. Depends on your riding conditions, dust will clog it up (mine anyway)
