I have 2010 Road king with a TFI gen3 installed using pre programmed setting. I just picked up a K&N 3930 air intake. I don't have pipes yet and not sure when I will. My question is should I wait to install the K&N till I have pipes or could I go ahead and install it now and if so would I need to adjust gen3 settings now or wait till I have the pipes and then adjust. Thanks' for your help

If your like me you won't be able to wait for the pipes, should be no problem installing the K&N now, you will get some performance gain with better breathing but you will need to adjust the TFI, and it might not need anymore adjusting when you install the pipe, depending on how rad they are.
Put that K&N on now!
That's the beauty of the TFI - nothing you do is even remotely permanent and you can tweak it to your heart's content.
