my rear brakes are feeling a little mushy so I checked the pads and it's about time for a new set. So when I went to check the rear reservoir and the fluid was clear to amber in the bowl. Would a flush with the DOT 5 be ok to do or am I going to have to change out the rear brakes lines as well:51:

Make sure that your bike calls for DOT 5 because they don't mix.

The DOT 5 silicone fluid changes color with age to an amber color, just flush it out to replace the fluid with fresh fluid and bleed them out.
