Hello,
I have a 1996 Ultra Classic. My head-lights, tail-lights, and passing lamps all go out on an intermittent basis. Since I discovered the issue I am no longer able to run at night. Two nights ago when this happened the lights went out twice but then stayed on the last half hour or so until I got home.
When I ran the bike last night at dusk, the lights went out much more frequently and at almost what seemed like the same time intervals. What is also interesting is that even if the bike is not running and sitting perfectly still in the driveway with the electrical power on, the issue still happens. Almost as if on a timer, the lights go out for about 10 seconds, then come back at for about a minute or so - with this just repeating itself.
Any thoughts on what my issue may be?
