Installing slip-ons: how hard is it?

Probably too late, but you should've put a bead of high-temp (copper) silicone on the pipes before you installed. This ensures a good seal w/no leaks...hope the new pipes sound good - just put a new set of true duals on my Street Glide yesterday - man, what a rush!!!
Ah, shoot! I forgot to do this. I was in such a rush to get em on. Is it possible to undo the mufflers, spray, then reinstall?

I paint the end of the header pipe with copper grease it helps to seal the joint but the most important thing is it it stop them from getting stuck on so when i change the silencers then i just twist and pull and they come right off i have to change mine over for mot inspection or the bike would fail so once a year on each bike they are off and changed fresh copper grease and the world is a happy place
