installing inner primary case

I took the bike down a few months back and became sick with CHF.I recently feel well enough to put it back together. Can quite remember where everything goes need a little help. The bike is 1977FLH. can anyone tell me if there are seals on the back side of the case next to the tranny? Thanks

Welcome to the forum Meandbert, yes there is a seal behind the ball bearing, here's a link to the parts break down, hope it helps.
