It used to be easy to install a tach as the coil once had positive and negative terminals, now my Dyna has a 4 pin connector going to the coil. Anyone know how to determine which wire or wires are positive and which are negative ?

Use to be a Pink wire for the Tach. under the Speedo. Don't know about the newer ones. Do you have a manual? It should show the pin conn. at the ECM for the tach. in the wiring diag. If you haven't bought the Tach. as yet make sure it is for Single Fire Ign.
