Following the instructions for installing H.D. Analog Speedometer/Tach using the data link connector I plugged the speedometer into the data link as per the instructions and turned the ignition switch to on. It showed check on the screen, but as I stupidly forgot to bring the key fob into the garage the alarm stated screaming. I turned off the ignition and got the fob. Returning to turn the switch to on the speedometer, but only a red light went on. It does not appear to download data now. Need some help getting the speedometer to download data. Thanks in advance.
