I'm ALSO glad I didn't sell my 2006 1200R.
When I bought my 09FLHR Big Bike to replace my 2000FXDS, I also owned the 2006 sporty from new. Thought about selling But!
The Short rides I do on occasion (15/50 miles) are Perfect for the Sporty, and the Lack of Weight is nice on the Short Hops. The sport sits waiting a little more than it would like while up here in washington(the word Cold!),,, But yet it is easier to ride it on the cold day-Short rides of which we have many...
I bought the 06 sporty new as a retirement gift to My self. Putting the Most miles on that bike down in AZ. (there for about a two year stay.) It covered many miles over to Calif., Texas, Utah, Col. NM all of Az. and even into Mexico...
I was a better Man back then and put over 34,0000 miles on that ride....

Body Mended Now, Hahaha ... I feel better HAVING HAD ridden that Stiff riding bike, just to brag I Did..
I have No plans to sell and glad I kept it!
