Importing my 2004 Road King to Canada

Huh...driving fast in Canada? Why...the scenery is great and riding superb! No need to run into trouble with the local Mounties for spirited fun and expensive games, JMO!

WOW thanks for all the tips. Im going down to get it in a few weeks. Did you have to fill out a "form 2" when you brought the bikes into Canada?

Yes you do your form 2 when the bike is in Canada. How is the bike arriving. Are you shipping it or are you bringing it back on a trailer. Before you leave the US you give the US customs 72 hours notice that you are exporting the bike, fax them all documents required (ownership, bill of sale, proof of a clear title, etc) you stop at the US customs and tell them that you asre exporting bike.Stop at Canada customs and pay RIV fee, and GST. You may be excempt because you are original owner. Then you get form1 there, and then you apply for form 2. When that comes go to CTC and get federal inspection done (free) and then get provincial safety inspection (not free) then you get your BC license plate
