Can you change the idle on a 2010, or is it a ECM thing?
Also, when you're shutting the bike down, wait ~10-15 seconds to let the ECM read idle. This way it won't surge high next time you fire the bike up on a cold start. Like STEVE07 said - should be @ 1050 rpm.
Cool, thats what I was looking for. It mostly happens in the morning when I fire it up.
That's probably cause it's cold and running in "choke" mode.
On my 2008 on initial start up cold runs at 1500 RPM. As warming up settles into a 1050 RPM.
LOL, The stealers would say they all do that This time they would be right:s
