What is your experience with removing the IAC from the throttle body? The Service manual says that significant heat may be required to be applied to the TORX bolts, because a patch of Loctite on each may make it nearly impossible to remove otherwise. However, the heat must be carefully focused on bolt heads only to keep from causing damage.

Any input from folks that have done it?

    Enjoy,

I have not but I would use a heat gun or blow dryer, not a torch

Thought I read somewhere on the forum to add new locktite to help soften up old locktite??
    Anybody done this before??
    Might help get them loose.
