Once all of this settles down here and we actually get back to normal, all of the local Texas guy/gals need to get together for a ride to the coast, if nothing else but to get to know each other and look at all of the historical sites that we lost. I could definatly use the wind in my face.

There is a local board - Houston Area Riders - and my guess is someone will propose exactly what you said. It is very informal and caters to all makes of bikes.

Count me in if anyone is organizing something. My guess is that the Lonestar Rally is out this year. We'll see.

I'm in Missouri City, and a trek down Hwy 6 is my preferred route. Then head West along the seawall and up from Seaside. May be a long time before that is possible again.

I just heard on the radio that the Lone Star Rally is still on, and that the Galveston officials are standing behind it. I guess we shall see.
