How to Adjust Soft Tail Rear Shock & Lowering Kit

Thanks for the info NEWHD74FAN. There has been some questions lately about about the rear shocks on softails.
 
It seems that the link to the PDF is broken. So here is a link to a video that utilizes threaded inserts and grommets lowering kit so you don't have to totally remove your shocks...
 
If you lower the rear, you may want to lower the front as well to "balance" the chassis stance...
 
Lowered softail looks cool but the bike will handle better at stock ride height. So, if you like to run through the twisties at speed, do it at stock ride height.;)

And if you have floorboards do not lower as it already scrapes if you try to lean too much!:eek:
