How do you clean Harley Aluminum Wheels?

I brought this back up because it works as an addition to screwylouie's tip.

I posted this somewhere before..after cleaning the wheel with BKF, try Dupont granite and marble sealer. Spray it on a rag wipe it on the wheel, let it sit ~ 15 minutes and buff dry with a dry microfiber cloth. I treated my back wheel prior to the Salt Springs trip and just wiped the wheel down the other day, shines like it was new with very little effort. The sealer is somewhat pricey, Lowes for about $14-16.

+1 for bar Keepers Friend. bought it at Target for $2.25

Just used a regular sponge so I would not scratch the surface.

Used an aluminum polish afterward to really bring out the shine.

They look brand new with about 2 hours work. And that is after not doing anything to them for 3+ years.:yes

Glad to hear this is making aluminum cleaning easier for lots of us! I haven't tried the liquid yet but I will next time. Also want to give that granite sealer a try. I want to compare it to the s100 corrosion protectant. This bar keepers friend is great stuff!:D
