how bad is it (engine noise)

thanks . was getting off fwy the left side peg started to vibrate and the the noise came (loud) ,straight home changed all oil no metal is will idle but when u give it gas and then come off u get a loud type of hard noise but know knock. more of like a hard vib . look at primary chain (just the small cover) seems ok but u cant see much . trans was low on oil thank for any help

!st - welcome to HDT and your first post.
2nd ---- what year , miles and mods?
3rd --- have you checked for a bad motor mount since you say its a vib. and not knocking noise? Need some info.

R. Lewis has you going in the right direction. Your bike has solid engine mounts and it sounds like the top mount may be loose.
