Hot Ride today

The only time in my memory that I wasn't enjoying the ride was when it was HOT. I have ridden with frozen fingers but still had fun. (I have better gloves now)

So - I will take the cold. (no snow or ice please)

I agree with TCSTD. This time of year in th Phoenix area is hot all the time (105+). Because of my race experiences years ago, I will not get on a bike without jacket, full-face helmet, full-fingered gloves, jeans, and boots (I know the value of "protection"!). So riding very early and late with a cooling vest, vented jacket, and long lightly-traveled roads for hundreds of miles is the way to enjoy riding and deal with the heat.

It may be a "dry" heat, but when it gets to 110-115 it's like a blast furnace even when you're movin'!!

Thanks for rubbing it in dude,Here on the wet side,it hasnt stopped peeing down for the last week and temps are below average for this time of year..whats this "global warming" all about huh?
