Home made book case

[Mavagrand]

Wife and I moved back into my small house in Bartow. There is this weird shaped nook area right as you walk into the living room. I couldn't find any factory made entertainment center that fit so decided to make one myself. The bottom part is an old real wood dresser from the 70s that we were getting ready to throw out. I just trimmed the ends to get it to fit into the nook and changed the hardware. The top half is built from scratch with material bought at Lowes. I just winged it, no plans or anything, just started measuring and cutting.

What do you guys think?

RW, we were living in Fort Meade, just a little South. Moved back to Bartow in November of last year. Thanks for the compliment.
