doc_63, what local chapter are you referring too? I live in Redmond, Oregon and belong to the national chapter as well as the local chapter (Central Oregon Harley Owner's Group - COHOG) and have not had an issue with them. Although there are "clicks" within the group, it is not hard to crack into them by just being the first one to introduce yourself to someone.

Not a member I let it lapse as I seen no real benefit to it, I am a member of the American Legion Riders and enjoy it! We have plenty of benfit runs/funraisers and the money goes towards supporting our troops if you can look into the ALR.
