Heritage FLSTC Pin Code

Hi All New to the forum so please forgive me if this question has been before. I have tried to get into the security system to change the pin code. I have been following the instructions in the hand book but can't even get the code to come up. I have been following the book but when I hit the indicator switch all that happens is the indicator comes on. Any help welcome. Regards Rodeo.

On my bike you have to push both turn signals at the exact same time to enter the setup mode. If you push one just slightly before the other, then the turn signal comes on. It's very touchy.
