Changed cam chain tensioner won't start the crank and cams marks lined up

your sure the back cam marks were lined up ..what about pushrod adjustment.. fuel turned on? battery fully charged

I didn't take the cam out back shoe was good

so is it just spinning but no start .. ya check compression?

The back shoe was good but the front was bad? so all you did was change the front tensioner? Like bud said check compression, spark, fuel and timing and the thing gotta run! must be something simple cuz changing the outside tensioer wouldn't affect anything. let us know

IT STARTS BUT VERY ERRATIC POPS,i KNOW THE TIMING MUST BE OFF BUT I SET THE MARKS ON

pull the timing cover again and check it if its popping like its out of time it probley is

It's easy to get off by just one tooth, not that I have ever done that
