Hey all

Ok I was washing bike today it was...98* out...I just finished and started
to get dissy from heat, so I went in side to lay down, & forgot that I left the
ignition switch on. About an hour and half latter wife came home and said
do you know you left ignition on? OH (BLANK) ran out to garage and turned it
off. I was in a hurry, had to be somewhere fast, so I didn't. try to start it.
When I returned about two hours latter tryed to start..click..click..click no
start. So I got out the pig tails for battery and proceeded to hock up when
I disconnected the neg. cable siren went off (key was in ignition with fob).
My question is when battery is charged will it start?...or will security system
(pager II AND SIREN) not let it? please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully, all you did was activate the Security system because of your battery tampering "simulation" of a theft. All that happened was the battery was too discharged to start, and should you should have performed the battery disconnection AFTER turning the ignition switch to on, then pulling the maxi-fuse. Right now after the "ear raising" experience, the battery being disconnected and security system "timed out" that all you have to do is charge the battery and follow the recommended procedure in your manual. No harm no foul.

The worst scenario (but likely not in your case) would be having to do the password check and relearn procedure if somehow something got out of whack or you need to "marry the TSSM (the Fobs are already serialized to your TSSM).

With the charger pigtails, there's no need to disconnect the battery to charge it, just hook it up and let it charge. You have to turn on the ignition and remove the maxi fuse to keep the siren from sounding.

It should start up with a battery charge.
