    That's it, I need help.
    Here ya go:

    AB03K2199

Is it a 2002 FlHP ? If so, what did the police special's have so special about them. Motor-wise.
    Thanks.

I forgot to mention it is an aftermarket frame. My research has lead me to believe that the engine number is an abbreviation to the motor number and out of sequence?

    It is abbreviated,

the link will show how to decode it.

Well now the info should be on the papers.. I hope :)

the only differance that I am aware of is police bikes have a higher output charging system to support lights and sirens etc.

There are supposed to be a host of changes, mostly subtle (smaller low profile luggage, trim, guards, run flat tires etc. I think there was a site that Speed and Glider had a link to, but I have been unable to find the thread or post.

Being an aftermarket frame, I would think it was built by someone using parts from other bikes and that it's not a police bike at all.
