Help with Ipod Lockup

Had the same problem. Finally got an iPod Nano. No more Hard Drive, no more lockups.

As said prior... The iPod Classics are hard drive systems with moving parts.
Moving parts can stop moving when exposed to excessive vibration.
The Nano is a flash drive system... all digital.

We manufacture a Riders Claw mount specific to the iPod Nano... so this question comes up all the time. Google Riders Claw.

iPod classic for home and truck and a iPod Nano for the bike. No problems.

The newer hard drives are very sensitive and do not like vibrations.

I have had my ipod lock up in the windshild pouch and not as often in the fairing compartmant , but i got the new hog tunes speakers there now and thats out so I ran a wire under the seat and keep the ipod in my backrest pouch and it has not locked up once
