HELP>>>>What is this part and what does it do???

I have what i believe is an 05 or 06 Softail. I bought the bike completely customized and dont really know much about it.

Heres the problem. The battery seems to be discharging slightly. Under the seat there is a small white box w/ a printed circuit board inside. it had 2 violet colored wires and a black wire, coming from a plug connector. They all have broken off the board. What is this, and is it the problem?

Post a pic if you can. Probably some type of light module.

Might be wires that were pulled off an alarm system to disable it at the time so it could be removed later.
