Help! Tightening Road King Handlebars

I need to tighten the handlebars on my 05 Road King Classic but can't figure out how to remove the chrome cover over the clamps.

If it's like a 07 there are two screws under the fork lock cover (Lock and Unlock). It just pops off. Use a sharp edge to pop it off.

If it has the chrome strip over the headlight you may need to remove the headlight and remove the nut that holds that strip on.

If you have the plastice cover that runs the length of the cover you can pop it out and get at 2 screws to tighten usually that is all you need to do and hopefully wont need to tear about the headlight to get the cover off it is a pain

Have to go in through the headlight after removing the bucket as a unit with the 7 screws that hold it in. The strip on the top of the headlight hides the front screw that holds the cover on over the clamps for the bars.
Be very gentle when refastening that flange nut on the chrome strip. Only snug it up or you will snap the stud off.
