Help removing stock mufflers

Hi Guys I just got home with a set of new Rush slip-ons for my 09 Heritage and I am stuck. I removed the two lower bolts and the nut from the clamp. Do I just keep tugging on them to get them off they won't budge?

Wiggle them a little up and down while pulling

Stand behind the muffler and take the rear of the muffler and move it in a circular movement as you pull them back taking care not to contact anything and damage the muffler.

Spray a little penetrating oil around the muffler and pipe.

Lean down and look into the muffler and then pull .. i guarantee it will come off and hit ya in the face then ..

We have all done stupid stuff .. im just glad i wasnt the tech who got his nose broke looking over at a part while useing a power extractor to take it off.. laid him out cold to

I sprayed some WD at the joint and then worked the pipes with a rubber strap wrench. Little back and forth action and they came right off. :s
