Helmets... do you wear one or no? and why?

I always wear one to protect my noggin and have been for 42 years. I think it's foolish not to.

I always ask people who say it doesn't make a difference in a crash if they want to test their theory. We'll trade swats to the head with a brick. I'll wear my helmet and they wear their dew rag. Bet if I go first they won't get their turn.

Here in Michigan they recently repealed the helmet law so now it is optional. My wife rides a horse and I ride my bike. We promised each other years ago that we would both always wear our helmets. It makes sense to utilize the proper protective gear for whatever activity you are involved it.
