Hello there from NJ

Hi Im Bob a new member in central NJ.
Im totally new to motorcycles and Harley Davidsons, so I hope you all will bear with me.
Im a hunter and fisherman who sort of inherited a 1971 Harley Davidson XLCH1000 sportster. It sat in a trailer for over 11 years and has not been on the road since 1983 or so.
I hope I can learn about the bike here and get it restored and back to its original state. I figure it will make a nice winter project and fun days for my wife and I come next summer
