Yesterday I picked up my first Harley, a sunglo/merlot 2013 Electra Gilde Classic with ABS at High Country H-D in Frederick, North of Denver.
The buying experience at this dealership was very positive, never any pressure, I ended up test riding 5 different bikes.
I have been riding since 1981, mostly Japanese bikes, but also an MZ, two BMW's, three Moto Guzzi's and a Ural.
The search is over.... I love my Harley! I never thought I would end up on a Harley but here I am, couldn't be happier!
I like how effortless the engine runs and the sound (of the stock mufflers) is intoxicating.
I grew up in Germany and have been living in the Boulder, CO area for the past 13 years and love it here.
