This was new to me and it worked great:
Trying to "fish" the wires throught the handle bars (with 4 x 90 degree bends) was not working. I didn't have an "electrician's tape" and wasn't about to buy one just for this install. My neighbor stopped by, while I was figthing this and offered this insight. He said, "Make a rabbit." Take a piece of line and tie a bit of a towel or shop rag to the end. Just big enough to make the "rabbit" snug inside the handle bar tube. Then grab your vacuum cleaner and suck the line through the other end of the bars.
It was done in less that a second!
Again, when I think about it, it is so simple and makes complete sense. Just wish I was bright enough to think of it on my own....instead of fighting the installation for an hour first.
