Heat Shields

    Hello all,

    Does anybody have heat shields on there bike? Does it help or is it a waste of money? Thanks for any and all input.

    What Kind of heat shields ya mean the mid frame one or?

    I know I'm going to be a lot of help here I put heat shields on my bike,but after that I only rode 30miles, in the rain ,at 40f.:(

    Mid frame on the Kuryakyn website they refer to them as saddle shields

    HD makes a set too .. cant help as of yet i have them to install but its a balmy 29 degrees right not so even if they were on i couldnt tell ya .. But soem of the guys say they do work

    Seriously they do work. The HD ones are cheaper,but the Kuryaskyn ones are better. I believe There is a thread on this in the self help section

    Installed the Kuryakyn brand on both my and the wife's bikes, here in the south in mid summer.. ABSOLUTELY can tell the difference when it's 90 + and especially stopped at the traffic light.

    I put the Kuryakyn ones on the Ultra and it makes a big difference.
