heat managment system

My heat management system on my 2009 ultra when engaged in traffic has become extremely loud and knocking while running on the single cylinder.Once I give it goes rs it goes back to normal. It wasn't that loud and knocky before. Any one have a clue?

Check with the owners manual as to the proper weight of oil for the temperatures in your area. How is your oil pressure when it is knocking?
