Why not just cut to the chase and hook up an MP3 player to the jack and see if the sound plays through the speakers? The mystery has my curiousity up. But, it's your bike, your call.

ok, so I hooked the Ipod up to it and turned on the accessory switch, and guess what??? I have tunes.. This is awesome. What kind of system is this? no idea you could do that....
