headlights yo-yoing?

what could be causing my headlights to start a yo-yo effect? Going dim then back to normal then dim and so forth.?

Sounds like losing ground to headlamp

When you pull the head light out look at the connector for excessive heat signs. They have been known to overheat from the bulbs heat and cause the connector to warp and get bad connections.
