Headlight Switch

If you wish to shut off the headlight for maintenance or to run in stealth mode, it's a simple thing to do.
Just locate the black (ground) lead in the headlight bucket on the headlight plug, cut it and add a switch to it so you can break the ground circuit. The headlight will draw significant power when the bike is idling doing maintenance.
You then have control over the headlight. I did this on one of my bikes and it works well.

I did this years ago on the 94 FLSTC because I hated starting the bike with the light on. Got stopped in Sturgis on a bright moonlite night with it off. Always remember to turn it on.:small3d007:
